TARA TAKES A SEAT ON CNN AFRICAN VOICES
One of Africa’s leading beauty entrepreneurs, and CEO of House of Tara, Tara Fela-Durotoye, will today, be profiled on CNN’s African Voices. The show is a weekly television magazine that highlights Africa’s most engaging personalities, exploring the lives and passions of people who are making an impact and pioneering change in Africa.
On this episode of African Voices, Tara talks about the Tara brand and how it has become one of Africa’s leading beauty brands. She talks about her passion for empowering young women, and teaching them to build businesses. She also talks about blazing a trail for young Africans and young African women especially to believe in themselves and to build their communities.

Tara started her beauty business career as a makeup artist and then evolved to launch her own brand of products, under the name – House of Tara in 1998. She produces beauty and makeup products and lead the pack in retail, distribution channel management and education. She is the wife of renowned motivational speaker and game changer, Fela Durotoye.
