Ladies and gentlemen, the much talked about Champagne Conversations is finally here!
Scheduled to hold on Sunday February 27, 2011, organizers of the classy champagne cocktail event have promised guests a 'helluva time' and 'fun of a lifetime' at the first edition of the occasion.
Fun-loving young people from all walks of life will gather this Sunday, all inhibitions behind, as they wine, dine and unwind, engaging in no-holds-barred conversations about yesterday, today, and tomorrow. They'll talk about wine, women and fashion; about leadership and the economy. They'll talk about sports and entertainment; about politics and business and pleasure. The drinks will dictate the tone; the music will dictate the pace. Some of the brightest and bravest minds around today will leave all behind, to soak up all the fun for all of three spectacular hours!
Produced by Sodium Brand Solutions, in partnership with BlackHouse Media and NET Newspapers, Champagne Conversations promises to be an evening of beautiful ballads and banter, interspersed with wild and wicked works from some of the best contemporary Nigerian music makers, the event aims to bring together the bright, the bold and the brave in an atmosphere fit for no-holds-barred conversations.
According to Abisoye Fagade, Principal Consultant of Sodium Brand Solutions guests will include musicians, actors, young graduates, entrepreneurs, undergraduates, models, young media players, and other key individuals within the youth segment.
While onlookers are still wondering what the event will look like Fagade sheds more light on the event "It's just not about champagne and Champagne-based cocktails, it will also be about all manners of conversations you can think of. We will also have a lot of surprises, the event promises to be one of its kind, I promise you".
'We've got some of the best brains around working on this. And the mandate is simple: create a one-of-its-kind event that people can look forward to every year. It's easy to get bored in a place like Nigeria. We want to cure ourselves and our friends of this boredom. We want to sow seeds of fun and friendship and make everyone rip from it.'
Entertainers like Darey Art Alade, Banky W, Dbanj, Ice Prince, DJ Jimmy JATT, Yaw, MI, Weird MC, Emem Ema, Kunle Afolayan, WizKid, Iyanya, Tonto Dikeh, Basket Mouth, and many others have already been confirmed as guests for the annual event, and even though the organizers are yet to confirm if there will be music performances, there are strong indications that there may be music from a live band- possibly Darey's band- The Soul Band
