Some of you know the story already, some of you were told and a few of us were there when it all happened… Well here’s a reminder of THE TRUE STORY OF DAGRIN’S DEMISE. The video below is a trailer off ‘Ghetto Dreams’ – a movie shot to immortalize Dagrin like the American greats – Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.
The Jarmzone cannot authoritatively affirm accuracy level of the coming movie but we won’t be disappointed if the producers do not deliver up to 90% (it’s impossible to score a 100% on a project like this). How-ever, we gathered that the late rapper’s father gave absolute consent and support for this project, so a great deal of information about Dagrin should have been shared.
From the trailer we can see some of Nollywood’s finest: Rachael Oniga, Kayode Odumosu (Pa Kasumu), Gabriel Afolayan, Oyindamola Odesola and AMAA winner, Doris Simeon. Other faces are Kenny St. Brown, Jaywon and upcoming act, Trybson Dudukoko. The movie, directed by Daniel Ademinokan will be released on the auspices of Stingomania Entertainment. Fans who can’t wait to see this prospective blockbuster would have to be patient till a soon to be confirmed date in April 2011.
