Read Time:1 Minute, 34 Second

Ladies and Gentlemen, Smooth Promotions, the umbrella body of HipHopWorld Magazine, HipHopWorld Awards and Hip on TV is knocking off nostalgia as it returns with – “Girls Nite Out”! This initiative was developed to give female folks a voice in a male dominated industry. It is a forum fashioned to celebrate womanhood as well as to discover and explore various female talents to prove the phrase “What a MAN can do, a WOMAN can do better”. The maiden edition was held in March 1999 before it was suspended in 2002.

An all female team led by Joke Jaiyesimi has been put in place to handle the come-back project. Words reaching us at the Jarmzone say everything concerning the organization and production of the event will be handled by ‘Girls Only’. And this means girls will be handling the stage design, video and sound production of the show as well as providing security for the night.

In a chat with Jarmzone Entertainment, Joke said “The evening will have only female up and coming talents entertaining and showing off their talents…..Brothers are to come and expect nothing but a fun filled and unforgettable evening”
